POSITION OBJECTIVE:

To assemble filters by hand that meets company/customer specifications in a timely manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assemble filters – put various types of media into channel frames and tape/pour urethane and secure together by various measures, such as, bolts staples, etc.
When using urethane, clean off excess from production filter frame prior to moving to the next stage.
Be sure that correct media is available for frame.
Be sure frame is square based on the filter specifications provided.
Be sure frame printing is proper and correct.
Be sure that the pleat count is correct, where applicable.
Responsible for producing quality filters and meet company specifications in a fast paced environment.
Follow safety rules and regulations

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to read a tape measure.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

6 months experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS:

License or certificates in any of the above mentioned trade skills are beneficial

Safety glasses are required at all times to protect against dust and particles.
Protective clothing must be worn at all times to protect against injury which may include cut resistant gloves, sleeves, aprons and gowns.

Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes and dust particles.
