Responsible for optimizing line/process performance by utilizing industrial engineering tools/techniques, collecting/analyzing data, and developing more robust methods to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. Work with teams to develop ways to increase productivity, maximize efficiency and manage human capital more safely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive good ergonomic practices by improving work methods and other potential safety issues
  • Lead efforts in optimizing line productivity, eliminating waste, reducing costs and ensuring processes produce products that meet/excced quality standards
  • Collect/analyze data using time studies, cycle times, and takt times to drive process improvements
  • Drive a continuous improvement mindset using LEAN tools and participate in daily plant Gemba walks
  • Support the R&D engineering team with establishing work flows, costing for new products or modified products
  • Audit existing product costs, labor, and material usage to improve accuracy and reduce plant variances
  • Evaluate effects of product design changes on processes (materials, flow, equipment)
  • Provide support for plant on equipment improvement opportunities or major equipment modifications

Technical Requirements

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Analytical, creative thinking, communication
  • Proficiency with analytical tools, workflow time study and process balancing
  • SAP or BPCS knowledge preferred


  • Prior industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated success in a similar position
  • Experience in lean manufacturing principles

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S) in Industrial Engineering

Licenses Or Certification.

  • Knowledge of work flow, labor standards, process layout/optimization
