Plans and directs regional sales activities to optimize bookings and maximize sales orders to meet or exceed booking quotas and sales objectives. 


Core Responsibilites:


  • Achieves regional sales operational objectives; preparing and completing action plans; implementing customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying trends;
  • Meets regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan in support of national objectives.
  • Maintains and expands customer base by building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities and developing new or existing sales distributors and reps.
  • Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.
  • Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • For the first year, primary role would be assuming management of our second largest distributor in the Gulf of Mexico Region (Houston) and traveling with them on a once/month basis. Setting goals, providing training and solving issues as they arose. Additionally, holding the Key Account Management role for MHPS in Orlando. Also, development of Oil & Gas relationships in Houston (expected travel 1 week every 6-8 weeks in this role)- leads and contacts already established, need follow-up with a technical presence.
  • After the first 12 months, sales territory can be expanded as mutually agreed by both parties.

  • A minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience is desired, preferably in gas turbine filtration
  • Experience with filtration product in a Sales, Estimating, or Project Management capacity is a PLUS
  • Must articulate a full understanding of filtration on rotating equipment
  • Exhibit solid business acumen including the ability to interpret and analyze blueprints, estimate preparation, presentation and proposal
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Strong organizational skills with aggressive follow-through and closing skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills


Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business field is required.


Special Skills:

  • Must be able to travel as required to meet/exceed objectives and grow market (Primarily in Florida and Texas)
  • Must be highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook and proper utilization and organization of files/folders on a network
  • Candidate must currently reside in territory, or be willing to relocate into the territory within a reasonable timeframe.
