Position Objective: Safely and effectively work with other team members to manufacture industrial filters.  Operate equipment as required for resistance welding, pleating, potting, hot melt application, gasketing and boxing.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. 2nd Shift team member
  2. Safely operate in a multi-cell environment
  3. Efficiently set up and operate equipment and utilize tools where required
  4. Collaborative communication and problem solving
  5. Improve and maintain area cleanliness procedures
  6. Train and support others while promoting safety, quality, efficiency and timeliness
  7. Perform all quality inspections and production monitoring within work cell
  8. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, as well as repair of equipment when necessary
  9. Actively involved in continuous improvement initiatives
  10. Training on 1st shift
  11. Other duties as assigned

 

Technical Requirements:

  1. Able to read/interpret engineering drawings
  2. Problem solving skill set
  3. Basic mechanical and electrical understanding

 

Knowledge/Experience:

  1. Previous work experience in a fast-paced environment
  2. Previous manufacturing experience beneficial
  3. Comfortable operating various equipment
  4. Comfortable utilizing tools to perform inspections
  5. Familiar with workplace organization (Lean)
  6. Able to read, write and speak English
  7. Able to work OT or/and weekends when necessary
