Position Objective:

The Financial Reporting and Consolidation Manager coordinates, oversees and/or performs tasks to achieve DHAI financial reporting, accounting systems, and internal control environment objectives.

Key Accountabilities:

•    Coordinates, oversees and/or performs tasks to complete the following financial reporting items: DHAI/HQ ledgers; Monthly DHAI Planful consolidation and Daikin package; Quarterly DHAI Global account reconciliations; Annual DHAI Financial Statements. 
•    Oversees and consolidates monthly DHAI Legal financial results for actual and forecast data, annual plan data, and DHAI departmental budgets.
•    DHAI HQ audit coordination and preparation of the DHAI financial statements. 
•    Interacts with outside auditors and provides information and access to general ledger and other accounting records as required.
•    Monitors financial software applications used to ensure accuracy and proposes improvements.
•    Assist in making the audit process more efficient, cost effective and managing the relationship with Deloitte. 
•    Support DHAI Corporate matters such as accounting policies and procedures, staff oversight/development, coordination of an internal control conducive to adhere to JSOX and other DIL projects.
•    Provides direction and leadership in the management of accounting policies and practices.
•    Supervises employee including selection, training, performance appraisal, and work allocation.
•    Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. 
 

Position Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA preferred;
2. 5-7 years of audit or financial accounting experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred);
3. Knowledge of US GAAP reporting requirements;
4. Possess exceptional analytical, oral and written communication skills and able to work with all levels of management, including overseas operations;
5. Excellent PC skills required;
6. Proficient in SAP, Planful, Visual Lease, and Excel software applications.
