Job Title:   Quality Control Technician 2nd Shift


Performs in process and final inspections, testing, and evaluation of product to ensure customer and regulatory compliance. 


Principal Duties:

  • To locate and read specifications and/or drawings to check product
  •  Documents inspection results by filling out reports such as test reports, reject reports, to ensure accurate record keeping.
  • Interprets specifications to ensure correct testing methods and customer satisfaction.
  • Uses other instruments required for product inspection and acceptance.
  • Train other QC Technicians how to inspect and run tests.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to learn new quality skills: corrective and preventive action, internal audit, document records and more
  • Answers production questions for engineers, supervisors, and others and reports any production problems.
  • 2+ years Quality experience preferred but not required
  • Working knowledge of MS Office:  Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Basic math skills including fractions; must be able to read a tape measure


Physical Requirements:

  • Lifts up to 50 pounds to move filter units.
  • Works in an indoor production environment with exposure to noise and dust.
  • Safety PPE required.
