Essential Responsibilities

  1. Troubleshoot and repair automated and semi-automated production equipment, including mechanical, electrical and pneumatic equipment
  2. Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure the equipment is in good running condition.
  3. Perform minor plant maintenance functions to upkeep the condition of the building.
  4. Perform basic equipment set up as preparation for production runs.
  5. Provide direct support to production to maximize plant efficiency.
  6. Assist with installation of new and/or reworked production equipment.
  7. Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications

  • Must be able to understand written and verbal instructions along with basic math skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Must demonstrate the ability to perform routine mechanical repair.
  • Must have motor skills and experience to safely operate hand tools as well as power tools
  • Minimum 2 years previous experience
  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends

Physical Demands/Work Environment

  • Routinely lift up to 35lbs
  • Casual bending, stooping, pulling, crouching and standing
  • Safety oriented, fast pace quality driven
